The single biggest factor in reed performance is humidity, and maintaining that humidity balance is further enhanced with the introduction of the new digitally controlled Vandoren HygroCase. The Hygrocase is a specially-designed case featuring a lid-mounted digital system that monitors temperature and humidity and will also record the highest and lowest temperatures and relative humidities that the box has experienced. With this information, you'll be able to figure out the temperature/humidity combination that works best for you and then maintain those conditions inside the case, regardless of where you are. The box comes with an instruction booklet (which is crucial to understanding the concept and how to work the controls), phenolic foam, and a water dropper.
